Default 2018 Calender

So the proposal is to continue with same formula as 2017

12 meetings on the last calendar Sunday of the month
8 meetings to be a competitive trials to the 2016 SORRCA scale rules and the LSTR course marking, please see threads for details,
Best 6 result count for the overall season championship, no prizes just bragging rights
4 meetings to be fun days, trail drives, silly cars, practice, if you want to run an ambitious day ( amphibious cars!) consider the site and plenty of notice. I think we should consider doing another 100+ gate G6 type event in the summer, maybe around Leith Hill again?

Provisional Calendar dates
January 28th Comp
February 25th Comp
March 25th fun day
April 29th Comp
May 13th Comp
May 20-21st Super Scale
May 26-27-28th G6
June 24th Fun Day
July 29th Comp
August 26th Comp
September 30th Fun Day
October 28th Comp
November 25th Comp
December 30th Fun Day

If any of these date clash with a major event, scale Nats or G6 etc.. please flag to the group ASAP.
All locations to be nominally around the M25
Locations to be discussed at the previous meeting and on the forum, pleases allow 2 weeks before the meeting date to propose changes.
Exception is the sudden loss of the site, please check the active thread on the forum the night before. notification of a late change will also appear on facebook page referring back to forum for details.
Please look for suitable sites in and around your location and when traveling, Parking is becoming a challenge as we grow.

May i ask why don't you compete to the 2017 official SORRCA rules? Not meant to be cheeky of course :-)

No need really 2016 rules work fine ,think the biggest difference is CMS in class 1 this would mean checking all C1 vehicles, that takes up time (I'd revere be driving ).

Good catch Mark, as G6 is quite well attended by our group we will move the date forward two weeks to Sunday 13th May.

This will give everyone 2 weeks to prep for G6 after May comp and anyone going Super Scale 3 weekends on the bounce

If your going with Premier Inn it's the Ripley hotel that most people stay at. http://m.premierinn.com/gb/en/home.html#/home/start This might help just add Ripley.
