Question Dakar/CORR Bodies?

Are there any decent ones.. exept the pro-line desert rat etc...

Just blowing Ideas in my head and I drew up a quick chassis for a 4WD CORR Truck and Was trying to find a shell...

Depends on what your looking for, wheel base, width, lexan or abs etc.

Some of the older Pro-line shells for the Rustler look good and the Tamiya stadium trucks look pretty good.

I want that badly. Have you got it yet? If so, any pictures, etc? It looks awesome.

I'm just after a CORR/Dakar pickup truck with flared arches, ABS or lexan I'm not fussed and it's not hard to stretch a wheelbase is it?

Width however, I'm looking at around 220mm+

I'm hoping now that Robbie Gordon has placed 3rd in the Dakar, someone will do his Hummer.

That sounds really bad.

Eiter a new CC-01 to go complement the VW, or for the Slash (hell yeah)

Man I have been waiting a long time for that Hummer
Only True American team in dakar and has now been used in Baja. One would think his hummer or even the truck for that matter would of been out a while ago, from American Lexan companies

not sure what bodies would be around that size, you would have to just check measurements.

If I was to have a big desert style truck, Think I would look into the AE SC8 bodies.

Gordon's H3 would be amazingly badass for the Slash/Slayer platform! I'm really hoping that gets done.

I took a pole on Beat Your Truck, where a lot of Slayer/Slash gys post, and got a result like 87% yes, 13% no interest in that idea, and Proline's response was "Thank you for your suggestion"

So it 'aint gonna happen through them.

I might try some other companies.

HPI listens very well to customer suggestions. give them a call. Thad Garner is especially interested in specialty items like this, he may be the man to talk to. (insider info lol)

I've already hit RJSpeed and Parma, but I will HPI. I don't know if they will want to produce a body that won't fit any of their products, but one of their main rivals!... Worth a shot though.

You could say it's a body for their savage X? It could work and if you ask for specific dimentions (to fit slash/slayer) but say its for a Savage.. It could work..

Either that or I'm tired and rambling aimlessly with out a general idea that could work.... .....
