The Brat chassis isn't anything but a Frog with no diff and a 380 motor. The value is in the body. But if you sell it, you'll find a use for it soon after

yeah, i wouldnt think the chassis is worth much with out the body. i have a monster beetle and a blackfoot, im keeping the blackfoot body and do some cleaning/light resto on em and stick a blitzer beetle body i have on the blackfoot and sell em

As a result of the frog re-re this chassis isn't worth much. If the tires and wheels are in good shape, they would be worth something.

Yah... Ditch the stupid press on pinion, and spacer, get a 18 t 32dp pinion, and bang a 540 right on in there....

yup the money (and weaknesses) are mainly in the bodyshell, but if you stick another lid on it could be fun.

there are a few parts which the brat used which did not feature on the later blackfoot and MB sprues so there may be some collector value there but nothing like what it would have if it had the body. if your lucky there are still some old stock of mudblaster bodysets still around, sometimes on Ebay for very little, I assume the only difference is the decals?
