Default New old blackfoot body

Had picked up a blackfoot extreme a while back for the hardbody. My nephew is really interested in my rc stuff. I'm letting him have the blackfoot to bash when he's over to my place and it needed a body. Found this old f100 on e-bay super cheap( I talking one dollar and free shipping) it's a little rough but a little time with some goop and styrene and a quick trim of the wheel wells and its good to go. One bonus the larger scale of the body makes it look closer to scale.

Looks good. Kinda reminds me of my Uncle's 53 F-100. Is that the Parma body or the 56 F-100 proline? Just curious.

Default Weathered beater

I didn't like the lightning bolts so I sanded and dermelled them off and repainted the inside. Still need to paint the rims. I think it looks like a low budget mud runner. By the way I locked the diff. I think it is a proline body, I bought it used and it had some proline decals on it.

Default BFGs on the BFEx

No doubt the guys who are looking at this are getting sick of it but I'm enjoying it anyway. I pulled the wheels off this afternoon to paint the rims and while they were off I realized this old set of BFGs would fit. The track is really to wide but I'll take it out for a little blast tomorrow anyway, I don't expect much but spinning tires but it should be fun.

Default Update 4X4 blackfoot extreme

Hi. guess this could be in another form now, I've spent more money on this project than if I'd bought a new truck for my nephew to bash. But I like to build anyway. I bought a used dualhunter chassis off ebay for a front gearbox and ordered some parts from tower. Now I have a 4X4 Blackfoot extreme. Works OK even with the stock tires I may look for a cheap set of 2.2s for the summer.
