Default The..uh...4x6...Thing.

Well I didn't have school today on the account of subzero tempeatures and a pansy for a superintedent. Not like I minded, but I was rather bored so I took some old Radioshack toys I had when I was much younger and cobbled this....thing up. It's borroring the radio gear from my Mini-LST, and the speed control from the Escalade I'm building. I'll pull the stuff back out once it's warm again, I suppose this is my winter car since I'll probably beat it and run it around in the snow.

4x6! There isn't really a body so to speak of, and I don't feel the need for one.

The rear assembly. I had 2 near identical cars (different colors) so I took one rear axle, and jerry rigged it with aluminum brackets and 2 zip ties to keep it from flopping about. It holds well enough for me.

The front assembly. I used alot of hot glue to mount the servo, and the servo horn is actually 2 joined together by more hot glue.

Some nice extra features:
-Rear axles have selectable Hi/Lo speed. I've only run it on Lo so far, but I'm sure Hi will make things interesting...or both at the same time
-The steering knuckles are metal! I didn't think toys beefed up parts like this, but its a cool little addition I suppose.

Idk, it was a mash up of 2 I had. I know one of them was called the Wind Streaker II, implying there was a #1 somewhere along the line. The other one I had I found in a trash can (no joke). I still have the bodies from both, I'll have to take a look at them later to see what the other one was.
