like Jay I am disapointed to here that you are unhappy, I have only been to 3 meetings and have found the group both welcoming and helpful.

As to your comment above the run order it has either been;
who is ready?
who has a score card?
and last time highest points first, to offer a clean run at the course?

There has been scope to run all day if you have enough batteries, 2.4 Ghz has transformed frequency clashes.

I am guessing you prefer to "trail run" and not competitive trial, this is a situation the AWDC found themselves in and they introduce drive round days with optional trials sections, most people were covered and happy.

I wouldn't mind a trail course on meet days as I have a couple of vehicle which are unsuitable for competition but work just fine off road.

Don't give up, I built off road trucks for 10 years and with one exception only found common minded people to talk to and play with in Germany!

LSTR are going through growing pains, but are like minded people trying to launch a hobby.

Anyawy enough guff from the old boy

my 2p.
do people want two meets a month.
say 2nd sunday of the month for a fun meet(trail running)could be used to test mods made to trucks etc.
and last sunday of the month the comps as norm.
Will wants to do fun days as he wants more driving so we'd be up for both.
we need people who want to do both to push the hobby forward .
and a bit of winching too.

good job, nice looking jimny with solid and sensible mods, as willkrawl said i also have a silver jimny, very classy colour

mine superceeded an SJ as the famliy offroader, both my kids have used it for tyro trials and now RTV/standard class trials, puts a few specials to shame.

I'd try twice a month, subject to other commitments, may be later in the year try a evening night run, most people seem to have lights or could rig some up.
