Fishing boat. ( Vid )

The wheel and nav equipment is normally inside on a larger fishing boat, the cab on a smaller one like i have made would be for storage, or just to get out the wind and rain.
The pilot wouldn't normally sit in the seat just when pootling around fishing, then you would look round the side of the cab. I wanted to give my pilot a comfy chair to sit in though, i like my Steve character, he'll be a good fisherman.

Ahhhh.... I have not yet seen one this style this small then. Looks great though! I have been following the project and can't wait to see more!

Shetland and warriors etc, just a small fishing boat with a cab.

O wow! Definitely have not seen one like that before! All the ones I have seen that size do not have cabs like that. Are those common in the UK? Certainly would be unique here in the US I would think. You would have to crawl in those short doors!

Yes, there pretty comon over here. Take it from me, you bang your head plenty when going in the cabs. There mainly for storing gear and a passanger or two. It's just a basic fun/fishing boat for a family say, momz and pops fish, while the kids play with the wires in the cab.

Got some detailing done tonight, i took the challange of the pot up and made one, i'll do a couple more, this one was just a tester, the next will be blue.







I did some weathering to the boat and sanding to the floor and benches to show a little wear. The weathering should come right once i start using the boat, i wish my camera would pick up what it really looked like, it looks brighter on the pictures than in person.

Excellent detail Ian, love the little fish in the tub lol, an its no wonder you have sensitive teeth if this is what you keep doing with your brushes.

I'm actually not sure what the cross beam is for, but i know the main white nav light goes on top of the vertical bit.
