It took me 4 days to build my honcho then 5 months later of tweaking, playing etc to get it 100% and I enjoyed all the tweaking a hell of a lot more than the making :)

As Dready says, do it a bit at a time.
Buy the body, as everything is based off that.
Get axles to fit
Buy some delrin and make the chassis
6mm delrin rod and some rod ends and thats your links done
transmission, depends on body type but you can get a brand new axial one for 30

All that + shocks + Electrics = Alot. I would even have to buy something to cut the delrin with, am pretty unprepared.

I am happy with buying a kit and building it but i think i can get more for the money if i brought something used. A honcho is 230 but i still will need electrics as i have nothing suitable here. I appreciate your help and all but i think for now i'll keep things simple.

Well its a Tuber but i was a bit short of rod so it doesn't quite extend over the rear axle.

Everything else is good apart from the servo mounted on the front axle.

Running Axial Axles
Rc4wd Tranny
1.9 CAC Ali beadlocks and Rox Lok.

Topped off with a Honcho Body Pics once i have sprayed the frame.
