Thanks, started collecting last August and finished around Christmas.

One of the diff bearings was kinda tough but the trans plate seems to have forced it into place.

Same here. So much binding, I couldn't use an MIP diff. RB6 it was, and it works perfectly.

Assembling those shocks was a helluva job, huh?

Which color paint are you guys using to match the yellow Kyosho plastic?

Tower Hobbies recommends Tamiya PS-6. It matches pretty close, but not perfectly.

Yeah it was but it was worth it. I have the instruction sheet that came with them if anyone one needs info or part numbers.

Thank you. I read that PS-6 was an option. Some people like it while others didn't. I'll give it a shot. Thanks.

Have any of you found a way to mount hex or pin drive wheels front and/or back?

Rogue Element Components are typically very limited. I emailed him just to double check and these parts are no longer available.

There has to be another way.

Anybody else?

Any recommendations on battery capacity? "mAh"

Or maybe weight recommendations?

I can go 3300 or 5300 or 6000? Weight is the big penalty for more runtime. I just don't wanna buy a 3300 and wish for more run time.

Any point in gluing the rock hard front tires that came with the kit?

Not unless you want to hammer the car on the track.

That's what I figured. I have some softies on a second set and the black tie shelf set.

Yeesssshh,,... no starting point for the slipper clutch in the manual?

Any recommendations?

Just now its all the way tight minus 1/3rd turn. I don't have a clue if this is even close.

Suprachrgd82 04-19-2015 10:43 PM

Not sure here either. Of the 3 Scorps I have, only one has been driven....by my daughter.....who thinks its fun to drive as slow as she can around the patio furniture...

olblueyez 04-19-2015 11:30 PM
