Yep hook mounted on truck i'm going to need to crank it if thats allowed. Or do it the other way and crank it from afar.

Either way its a winch

I would not worry about the shell , u need to build the kit , then just test it before the comp mate , to make sure u r all set up correct...

Yeh but unfortunately i can't build the kit until i buy the correct tools :(

I have basic screwdrivers and wrenches but i need allen keys and pliers etc.

doesn't the kit come with tools?

Ok to allen keys but you shouldn't need any pliers to build it.

Mine did they came in a Bag with the instructions and Two Green Gate Markers
There were 3 allen keys and a Box Wrench got grease and some thread lock to.

Didn't use any of it i opted for a 9 Inch grinder and a big lump hammer
