Can you get some pics up here? It would probably be easier to follow/diagnos if we could all see the truck.

thats exactly the problem. Nothing looks wrong at all, it all looks like it should run perfect. But the motor, even when i just hold it up it doest run. at all. If you do want pictures though i can get them.

I was going to suggest there was something jammed in your motor, but I remembered your motor works with your dads slash.

Why don't you do a sneaky sneaky swap? Your motor in your dads slash and your dads motor in yours? It seems to work that way...

Always an option

Just curious, when you held onto your motor and tried it in your dad's Slash, did it get hot really quickly? or at all?

One other thing you could do quickly is to actually bolt your crawler motor (or your dad's Titan) to your Slash transmission and see if you get drive. That would either rule out the transmission or reveal it's the problem....

The tranny is fine, just tested it. And i also tested the motor while not bolted into the transmission. Ahh this is frustrating...

Hmmmmm.............. So, basically everything works fine on it's own but not together?
You've got drive, test motor worked fine when bolted up, your original Titan works when you hold on to it.
I can't see it being a program issue because it works with your dad's Titan in it and a 12T is a 12T is a 12T......

It must be in the motor itself. Yes it works when you hold it but that has basically zero load on it when you do that. Could it be the problem is allowing the motor to spin under little to no load but when loaded up with driveline weight and resistance the problem amplifies greatly into a no drive situation?

Might be time to call the Traxxas help line, I'm stuck on what to suggest now.

Probably best to let them have a look at this point. Diagnosis is a really tough thing when the equipment isn't right in fron of you!

Let us know how it turns out...

Yes, i am bringing the slash to the LHS. Im gonna try to have them put a brand new titan in it, and if it works i know the problem is my motor.

Well its my motor. I put a brand new titan in it, and it ran fine. I emailed traxxas and they said theres no specific warranty for the motor, but if i send mine back to them theyll send me a new one!!

Good to hear you are back up and running! Traxxas has exceptional customer service (in my humble opinion) and really stand behind their products.

Now I just need to get my hands on a 4x4 Slash......
