mtroniks rock C and ansmann roxx 50t both are cheap but seem to work well together,motor looks rebuildable too
on the wraith front dont think sand ladders are going to be needed as it sounds like a sprint not a timed crawl. scale points could come in handy thro.
on scalepoints, would revesing lights count?

Lights are scored on Functional Scale Items

Functional items (max -8 pts):
• Tow strap, -D-ring, Pull Pal, sand ladder, hitch, Etc. -1 each
• Headlights(2) and taillights(2) -2
• Winch -2 Each
• Full size spare tire. -3

hi every one , who is going to the scale nationals and is anyone going friday night or fancy convoying up there, spoke to pete and he said there is camping and as it so far it would be good to get my moneys worth out of the weekend

Me and Jay are going up friday, has he confimed you can camp friday as the last comment about that on UKRCRC was they didn't know.

Sat down this morning to redesign the winch mount, thought I'd have a look around at what others where doing in case I was missing something obvious.
Came across toyranosours one he's selling which is identical to how I was going to redesign mine.
But after reading a few comments about people loosing travel if you've dropped the suspension I had a little play and decided to stick with what I did initially, doesn't look as nice and sticks out a little, but you lose no travel and keep the big lights just in a different position, so that saved some work
This is toy's one :-

ok so ive just re read the email that i sent him and i said that is there camping and is it a two day event and he said yes to both so i didnt actually ask for friday camping, my bad, but i have just emailed him asking that exact question keep you posted
