Default marco's fusca*with finished details*

when i do scale builds, i always try to imagine who would own and drive the vehicle. it helps give me some direction. this build was loosley scripted around a freind. any way this is the story. marco was a brazillian who moved to so cal in the 70's, he brought his love of the beach, racing and v-dubs with him. he bought an old bug and started to transform it into a baja buggy in his garage in his spare time and go to the dunes on the weekend. he didnt have any sponsors and did all the work himself. here is what marco built.

you guys are quick. i really wanted to do a vintage luggage rack, partially because they just look cool and the other because i never saw anyone put one on a scorcher. i also wanted to do a single tone vintage color, this was the classic savannah beige of the late 60's early 70's. i tried to capture as many cues from the early buggys as possible.

You really killed it on this one C. Like all the details; black chassis, red shocks, roof rack, original body color. Very nice.

all it needs is an ''up your bug'' sticker (body lift maker from the 70s for vw's) and an EMPI decal on the back glass.
