Somehow, the very idea that one can drop $10K on an R/C car is astonishing, at least with mostly bolt-on parts! (I gotta make some 5B stuff. ) I can't see running it & getting it DIRTY, more like the lucky winner should put it under glass with its own spotlight & that music they play at the Vatican. Chris

Its extremely easy to build a Baja in that price range. Last year for RCX I built a 5T VW with a 62cc skopod and full wet nitrous system. Had a little over $12,000 in that one.

We have worked extremely hard putting this whole event together and its for a great cause. If anyone buys tickets I wish you luck!!!

Just for clarity, would it be ok if I entered this contest? I dont mind giving to charity and the prize looks pretty sweet but I'm also in the UK and highly unlikely to attend the actual event.

We are allowing people from outside the US to purchase tickets we do ask though that any winner outside of the lower 48 US states pay for shipping as we do not have the funding to pay for large shipping fees.

LMAO...of course not, you just spent ten grand on a r/c car!!!

it's way too shiney and happy for my personal tastes, but i'll be ordering some tickets just to help the cause out.

LOL We had to go for some of that bling factor but the key components are good for bashing. I didn't get too carried away with all billet a-arms and bulkeads so it's not overly heavy or will require major repairs from a single crash. That pesky aluminum 1 thing bends it all bends.
This car will have some brand new billet rims on it also that havn't been released to the public yet and lots of LED's. Its also coming with a second unpainted body so the winner can do their own paint job if they so choose to do so.

Thanks for your support we Appreciate it!
