Easiest thing to get is fishing braid, but you really need something 25lbs+ so look for sea fishing shops.

Yep it does, if you can find anything somewhere around 0.6mm is just right not to thick and not to thin

Check if it's got any memory, wrap it tight round a pencil then if it comes off straight it's ok, if it's wound up like a spring keep looking

very slight i can use it for mocking up the position and guide tube anyway.
