Hi to you all

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, hope it's ok.

My friend and colleague Chris has recently built himself a rock crawler and thought you'd like to see a few photos of it.

The reason I'm writing this and not Chris is because between us we run an organisation called Docklands Riders which has an off-road motorbike track in East London.

We wondered if any of you would like to come and see the track and tell us if it's suitable for your rock crawling needs.

We've made a short video of the car going over some of of the obstacles we've built which I'll post on youtube as soon as I can or you can watch other videos of the track on youtube right now, just google Docklands Riders and follow the youtube link.

We look forward to hearing from you and hopr to see you at Track KG5 soon.

Cheers

Dylan and Chris

The track has many obsticals, rock sections ,ruts, and logs as well as some man made features that I have built. I'm sure it would be a great place to practice for rock crawlers and scale trucks. There are also a couple of areas that we would let people develop and build what they want if the interest was there. Maybe even to run a scale truck trial if a club wanted to get involved.
If anybody is interested give us a call at work on 02074734434 and I'll show you around one evening next week.
This could become a regular event if there is enough interest.
Thanks
Chris

There's 4 of us who are very local, and I'm sure if the venue checked out a lot more would come from further afield.
I know personally I'd be more than happy and grateful to help build up an area specifically for us.
I'll give you a buzz monday and see when we can meet up.

Default new project-tt01 bowler

hi all
bloke who runs my local model shop today offered me complete tt-01 chassis with motor, servo's, wiper blade SC, reciever, 4 hummer style wheels (no tyres) and a brand new uncut unpainted bowler wildcat bodyshell. wheel base is the same, there's room for a bit longer shocks for ground clearance,
reckon i can glue the diffs, and turn it to a real nice scale model, maybe not a brilliant crawler, but pretty, he wants 40 quid for the lot, what do you think??? couple of questions, how can i gear down enough, could maybe fit a reduction on the motor but it might stick out too much. will cut out the battery tray and mount it on top for extra clearance..
does anyone have experience of tt chassis, let me know,

simon.110
