At the end of the day you can fit 2.2's on a Honcho without any great hardship.

So technically you could use the same truck for two classes with a quick tyre change

Welcome aboard. I'm sure we will all let you play with our trucks if they don't work.

I'll try and get the Honcho finished so I've a spare. Just finishing filming the end of the build.

2.2. Comp, better bring the Tamiya CR-01.

Thanks for the kind offer of a loan vehicle, I hope I won't need it!!
On the 2.2 question I also have a 1/10 scale unimog which runs on 2.2 flat irons, previously I have used it in Truck trial in Germany, so would be interested in a large class moving forward. For that matter I also have an 1/8 scale Unimog but that is getting big!

On a different topic I was interested that the group seem to have a low opinion of the new M tronics cralwer ESC, any specific reasons?

Well just mtroniks in general i think
I have had two go up in smoke not really what you want.

TekinFXR for me all day long

I think a 2.2 class is a little way off just yet but I can see it happening in the future.

I've got 4 Mtronics speed controllers (love the fact, there 100% waterproof) and they work fine for me, I know the more expensive ESC's may perform that little bit better, but there 3 or 4 times the price.
