That's the thing that confuses me about England (never having visited - yet, anyway):

okay guys, went there today and here are my thoughts:

For a get together for trail driving it is absolutely brilliant. Two hours to drive round the area in the pics (follow my leader type thing).

As for a comp, the course's would be a bit spread out and would need a bit of thought and help so we could get as much driving in as poss. There are some puddles we could use but this would depend on the weather, okay to drive through today. Also a sandy area that we could dig about and make the terrain more fun.

Just my thoughts but I think it could work.
