Default 77' dodge tradesman
hello guys !

I have started a new project but this time based on the vanessa lunch box.
the idea is to built a typical van of the 70's
the most difficult is to find a wheels for a "scale look" !!
this body is approximately at 1/15 scale,like the hitari rc "a team van"
the picture is with vw cox wheels from tamiya

the other with hpi micro RS4 rims,the tires are from tamtech gear reduced in diameter

cool but not perfect,so,i continue the researches...
maybe wheels from team losi 1/18 will be better for the scale look

the first step is the front grill,I have found a picture on the web
the picture was reduced and printed and glued on a piece of cardboard for use as a template to make it in sheet styrčne...




the bumpers will be built later in aluminium....

VERY COOL!!!! I was just browsing the forums and saw Dodge tradesman, I had to click on it. This is gonna be sweet!!!! I can get a bunch of pic's of custom painted dodge tradesman's and interior themes if you go that far.

I have collected many pictures on my pc,but I don't have an airbrush so,the paint scheme will be probably with strips like this one

Thats a Dodge Street van, the Lunchbox body is based off of a 76" or 77". The 78 had bigger taillights.

cool project. the vw wheels would look pretty good if they were flat white or more weathered IMO.
