no significant news from this project,but for my personal use I have cast my original parts in ivory resin because I plan to built in the future several vans

Hi guys
I have finally found the correct wheels and tyres combination


tyres and chassis came from a nikko 1/14 toys and american mags came from a MONOGRAM 1/12 model kit (chevy bel air)
the chassis need an adjustment of the wheelbase of a few centimeters,this will be done soon
as you can see on the pictures nikko rims and monogram american mags need minor adjustment too

thanks !
little update with chassis modifications...
first,cutting in half for extend weelbase

some pieces of black plasticard was cut and glued with epoxy and other with cyano glue




and after sanding with fine sand paper the result is..

before and after

a coat of black flat paint will be added at the end of modifications.

little update on chassis with front body mounts





on rear,I use abc hobby "stealth body mounts"

before the first coat of primer I have made doors mirrors with styrene








last picture with his brother,the HITARI "a team gmc van "

Hi
chrome plating session with kosutte gin san
resin bumper painted gloss black then polished

apply "magic powder " with a Q-tip

then,bumper is polished with clean cotton swab
