Default Leo's Styrene Thread...

Somehow my old styrene thread got deleted... but it is back:

Now featuring the Wheel Weights as well as the styrene, diamond plate, clear etc.

The eagle eyed will notice a small price rise... while I was working out the effect of the VAT going up, I realised I had never charged the VAT before!!!! Doh!

Oh well. There it is... I'm well stocked right now, so get your orders in.

Andy - I've got your big sheet.
Scott - I've got your 4x double sheets as well.

Andy is going to need more than one sheet to build his Portacabin.
I've seen the plans

Can you get hold of Tenax 7R Leo?

Well, Plastic Weld does what it says on the tin (bottle). It basically melts the two surfaces, then evaporates, leaving a join as strong as the surrounding styrene (as long as your joints are clean).
Depends what you need to do. For ultimate strength I guess you could use epoxy?
But mostly I just sell the stuff, there are people on here with a lot more styrene experience than me!!!

Yeah, I know... tenax is hard to find here. If we could find out the chemical that is in it, I bet we could find an alternative. But actual Tenax is rare.
Maybe it's time to ship a case in from the states??
