Default something cheap for my son

i've got a month long good behavior chart going for my 10 year old lad, that will get him something that will enable him to tag along, if anyone has a rtr xc pajero or similar surplass to requirements for about a ton by the end of march, give us a pm, if not check out www.nitrotek they have rtr 4wd beetle or truck for about 85 quid. was thinking that with a 55t and glued diffs either wouldn't be to bad. give me your thoughts??
seen a few tamiya hummers too, on ebay for 60 with glued diffs and loads of bits. low on ground clearance maybe but very scale looking.
all will be probably be to high geared but what will gear down with the least trouble.. thanks

Rikk, Graham and myself are meeting at the BMX track tomorrow.

Weather looks good, should be there from 9 till 1 or later if I can get a longer pass-out

Sorry about the late notice, but wasn't too sure on what the weather was doing...
