I have some HPI 77-117mm shocks on order, they will improve the travel.

Thanks. I made a few adjustments and I am waiting for the second prototype. I guess it will be at least a month, should be in time for Christmas.

Have you had a chance to fool around with the axle? How's it looking? Probably can't get the axle untill Chrismas too or what?

Still waiting for it to be shipped. I think the axle will be out before the chassis. Just needs to be tested.

Just a quick update: the HBZ USA Slash rear cage fits this chassis with no issues. I have test fit the HPI 77-117mm shocks and the rear suspension travel is great now. No new pics until second prototype parts are ready...

Got the axle and I am pleased to report that RC4WD have done a brilliant job on this. It comes with metal hexes and silver coloured screws but I swapped mine out for black ones.

It comes with a spool instead of diff but the gears are hardened steel, the gearing is the same as stock Axial/WK which is 13/38. They are working on a diff for it.

Until then the HPI and Axial ring gears, pinions and diffs fit perfect inside the axle. Just remember to remove any shims you have added as the tolerances are tighter on this machined axle housing. The diff can be fitted either way depending on which way you want the axle to rotate.

The axle has plenty of bearings and e-clips to keep everything in place, there is no slop!

There are multiple mounting points for the lower link mounts

Waiting for chassis prototype v2...

Honestly dont know why the axles aren't on sale yet. They may be holding on to them so they can bundle them with the chassis kit. I am still waiting for prototype v2. I will try and get some axles released for you...

I want it all !

This is awesome. I wouldn't like to use the stock gear box cause it has gap in the front end.

This is amazing engineering.
