The I-beam is made from styrene ("Polystyrol" in German).

thanks im started a project of my own a Chervolet silverado 3500 1986 dualli so maby i will make a simler front end

You arenīt correct on the Ami though, needs a prettier hood but apart from that sheīs done .
Started work on the frame, Iīll post a pic later when the glue has dried .
