those who want to compete can but those who want to just have fun and get out of the house can follow the leader? (kinda what is was like before we started to organise ourselves).
LSTR is a democracy (when did that happen and I thought it was a dictatorship with Leo and Neil at the helm) so the majority wins!
I started to attend the meetings to meet like minded people and enjoy the hobby, I know people (in general) like to compete but I don't have a competitive bone in my body so that doesn't interest me, but I don't expect the LSTR group to change to fit my needs. The group has been steadily evolving over the last few years into one of the slickest outfits on the forum and long may it continue.

Competing is fun, it's just that our points system needs tuning.

I vote C: keep the rules, but adjust them so it's more balanced.

Starting on -41 would be fine for a whole weekend event covering 10 or so courses. But sometimes we run 2 courses and call it a day. That makes the scale points way too valuable.

i agree in what you are saying mate , BUT

lets just say you have paul with only 16 scale points i think and then you have dready with 41 but pauls truck is lexan and really light , but dready's weighs a tone , and yes he has gone for the more scale look , but yet paul still beats him .... ???????

its how the bloke picks his lines and drives his truck .

At the end off the day , it is fun , but we always have great fun we always can go off and have fun with trucks ..
