Competition Course Rules
A course is normally marked by 10 pairs of red and white gates
The first gate will be marked or identified as the start
The gates/course are driven with the white gates on the right side, (white on the right)
+5 hit a gate
+5 boundary marker or cross canes
+1 reverse (1st reverse after each gate is penalty free)
+1 sand ladders use per gate
+3 winch use per gate
+5 outside assistance, tow or winch
+5 per course: use of either dig or rear steering one only per course (only class 3 eligible)
+0 roll over and back onto wheels
+5 roll over onto side or roof, rolled back onto wheels to left or right from where vehicle has stopped moving
+5 reposition ( vehicle is stuck or after a roll)
+5 repair or touch
+10 wrong direction through gate
+10 miss gate completely
+10 DNF (did not finish) per gate left on course
+100 DNS (did not start) per course left
+100 practicing/driving on a course
housekeeping on the day:
Please find below a guide for when attending Comp Days and FUN days.
Each course is to be driven once per class, per day, per driver.
Please avoid walk on the courses, where possible
Please do not practice or drive on the course at any time during the comp
Please do not interfere with people or property during the comp
Please do not play with fast vehicles at or during a LSTR meeting
Please replace any knocked over markers into the same position if possible
Please do respect other drivers when they are driving competing
This code are aimed to allow all competitors the chance to get maximum enjoyment out of each comp day and within reason all to drive the same challenges set in each section.
