Default Dogs who like RC?

The weather has been lousy up here in southern Id, and northern NV. Highway 93 is closed between Twin Falls and Wells. Now that I don't have a river rolling down my street I got some time with the ECX and my dog Trex.

Anyone else have pets that chase their trucks, or you chase your pets with?

When I was younger, I had a dog that chased my RCs. It was all fun and games until they caught it. After that, the dogs were penned up while I ran them.

Years ago I had a dog that ripped the body right off. One of my dogs now kind of just stays out of the way and the other chases only when we are outside.

Harry
Mine used to chase but was scared of them when they stopped. He used to step back from them and I used to let him chase and loved to see him backing off when I used to reverse them.

Cute dog blue dually Yes when I was younger (way before I got married) We had a Rotty that used to chase RC's. Punctured my TXT's body and gave the truck a toss. Like Bullet, after that the dog was left inside durring running... Hello Harry!

I used to have a neighbor dog that chased my stadium truck...

Just have to change the trucks manners. I am the Alpha.
Make some distance, swing around, straight at them and wide open. Chase them back home. When they do the turn & stare and make sudden movement, throttle blip toward them. Any time 'Unleashed Shi-thead' would step off the grass at his house, take off toward the dog and back them up into their yard.

My dogs are cool, you can play with stuff and other than the occasional moving to block your path so you pet them, they don't care. Trucks, cars, crawlers, quads good to go. The only rc thing i've found they don't like were the counter-rotating helicopters.

Just seen those videos! Totally cool and must be a good training toy for dogs, especially puppies.

My buddy used to have a mini erevo VXL he attached a dog bone where the rear wing mounted. He said that he could only catch it a small amount of times and never really hurt the truck. Little rc was fast. But you can’t play trucks around the dog.
