Default Why so many views?

I was wondering how it was possible to have 53 viewers in this "general rc" section, sometimes more and no new comments for days??... Is there some sort of new Macs/ PCs that don't have keyboards anymore?? In all seriousness might it be that the traffic is largely directed here through an outside search queries? The googles?

It's all bots. Google ad-bots scan threads for keywords, and suddenly ads appear that match. (TEST: I sure wish I had some generic Viagra) Then more bots read the ads, other bots come along and post some dubious links, we ban the bots, and more bots come along.

Of those 53 views, maybe 6 of them are by actual humans.

...Ding ding you win. You're human. Human/hammer hybrid thingy..., but 4x4lover I have bad news...There's been an outbreak and it appears we're the last of six members remaining with fingers... This bodes badly for our hobby as fingers are necessary for building small trucks OBH may be a bot. He hasn't been able to answer my advanced bot screening questionnaire

What Stu said^ lol I think most of the traffic here these days is people landing hear doing searches. Seems there's been a steady decline in people actively posting on the forums for the past few years or so, but it serves as a pretty nice archive of info I guess.

Pretty sure I'm not a robot.

I'd gladly answer your questions, but the answers would only be used by other totally-not-robots to register here and post up some garbage links.

Totally unrelated, who wants to buy a fake passport or download a virus? I can hook you up.

Phew, glad it's really you!... Not a fan of the "Jasonrib" and all his "rib" family fouling the boards. I do love R2D2 though I'd love to build one. I wouldn't let him on the internet though so no worries there... hmm passports, viruses? You got pm...

You're watching television. Suddenly you realize there's a wasp crawling on your arm.

Just re-read your post stu lol. Your posts' sarcasm went over my head. Must have saddened your sub-cockles to have your humor bounce off a brick. That's it I'm back to being suspicious of you...Anyway the "og" OBH was a prolific poster of threads ..hmmm

Yeah, well, I took the Voight-Kampff test, and the result was "probably human." So there

Then again, I might be a robot that was programmed to pass the test, so I guess the jury is still out.

Haven't touched an RC in years, sorry. Last time out, every joint in my body shut down for 3 days and I realized I was getting too damn old for this stuff. For a while I was building static models, then I ran out of shelf space.
