Make us a nice looking cowling for this goofy looking motor. this is the dolphin by koyosho. the foot is a spedometer cable drive. it is verry eficient if you grease the cable often. and the horse power can be really jacked up on this foot. but the cowl is really dis preporti nante . it looks really big without function or reason. bill payne

wow that thing is massive! The lower unit looks really short in height for proportions.

Maybe the large cowel was supposed to give the illusion of a big V-8 powerhead!

if you own or have access to a CNC machine. it could be made. the actual champion of outboards is the k&b nitro motor with a spedo cable drive . it seams to be a lot stronger than any gear set up curently available. and the lower foot is made in 2 halves and bolts togather K&B makes 5 or more sizes. slab an electric motor ,some of the new brushless motors with li polly batteries and they really turn into hot rods. bill payne

I could go for a scale cowling for the Kyosho Dolphin and the Aquacraft EP-1 outboards.

think about the MRP outboard. the old model has a stainless steel lower unit. ( bullet proof). but the vacum form body is thin flemsy and not verry pretty. bill

Hi Bill,

Well, I like the classic look Mercury, and for a modern look I like the Honda cover.
