I agree with Foxtrial's comments below. Work out your scale points on the day. If you rig has not changed, then its "same as last month", so just keep a note in your phone etc. of these (I photograph the back of my score sheet to help me remember ).

If you have made changes, on the day is the best time to work the points out as folks like Chris, Martin & Paul are about to help score your rig.

Yeah, I'm not convinced by the look. Much prefer the new Tamiya Unimog shell as I think it looks more scale. Might make a good class 1?...

Default all change for next year scale nats

Your thoughts please: OK guys n gals...after a year of speculation and 'what if's' I had a long phonecall with Daniel Siegl yesterday about the first ever official UK G6 hosted by Brian Parker Mr G-Train himself. Daniel has successfully staged these events in Germany and acts a G6 contact in EU.

The date they have provisionally offered is Saturday the 18th of June. This is due to US event commitments, and a EU event planned for a few days later.

The format would probably be:-

G6 Event Saturday with full on night run/trail as part of the event. So a long, but very fun day. It's not a Axial specific event so all can come and take part. Sponsorship is open to all brands with RC4WD and Axial as main sponsors.

Sunday we would run our own RRC technical course comp with trophies and raffle as usual. I'm sure Brian and the G6 crew will join us for that and help present prizes...

G6 is Brian's concept and brand so we would need to cover his flights etc. So anyone competing in G6 will charged 15 for the day/night event. Anyone joining us for the RRC comp Sunday as well an additional 5.

Raffle tickets will be the usual 1 a strip.

Because of high profile nature of this event we will also try and tie in with 1:1 4WD clubs and organisations in UK with Axial providing demo rigs and staff like at KOH for anyone wanting to try out a fun course by the car park.

Who likes this idea of this? And provided we can get the site or an alternative who wants to take part?

Sounds great! Count me in and happy to assist with setting up if required. Any idea on location (could it be more southern, then with the RRCi Scale Nationals at Bracken Rocks we'd have better 'coverage')?

BTW, would this be in addition to the RRCi Scale Nationals, or replacing it?
