Default Jan 2013

Happy New Year to all

17 hrs in and it hasn't rained yet, hose pipe ban by end of month

I'll start the thread for Jan 27th meeting;

3 things:

Location? Oxshott seemed to be getting warm vibes as it is weather proof.

Calender? I posted some ideas last year, if we were to go with them January would be a fun day, if this is so then we need to get some ideas flowing for day.
team recovery and/or reverse driving sections and/or trailers and/or all at once

Rules? Dready do you have the final changes to 2013 scale rules or very good idea of the changes?

well seeing as leith hill was shot down in the other thread i'm not going to suggest it. what we could do is a chained pair challange. the front of one truck is chained to the back of another. while chained together the trucks must maneuver around a course. we could also do a reverse course. tackle a course driving backwards.

Charles truck couldnt pull a striped scx roller. It would just dangle from the beasts bumper like a stuck roadkill! Lol. Im up for it though!

They should be out Saturday

January is only a Fun Meet but I'll bring a copy with me If I haven't published them here by then.
A Sneaky headsup without going into massive details:-
There's a few tweaks to Scale Points.
Class 3 has some Dimension Requirements that probably wont affect anyone that I can think of.
There's are some Changes to Class 2's but I cant see that affecting anyone either because it will loosen up what you can actually build in the future.
(Unless someone has built a Full Tuber for Class 2??) you might want to sell that now!!

No-one is going to have any issues I dont think.

I take one tonight and put it on.. But basically its a tube frame with SCX10 running gear and a body on it.. Similar to your class 3.. Can you explain something? So what's the thread at the top??? Is it the same rules we talking about?

As Long as yours has chassis rails its not a Tuber.
Those rules at the Top have nothing to do with us and we're not running them.
We will stick to the SORCCA Rules that we have been running for the last 2 years sucessfully.
