Default Meet at Ashridge on 06/12/09

I know it's short notice, but me and Paul and maybe Mark are heading up to Ashridge on Sunday. We will be there between 10 and 11.
Anyone fancy going is more than welcome. We are going MUDDING, so Wellies are a MUST(or waterproof boots/shoes you don't mind getting covered in mud). The big puddles have filled up nicely with the latest outbursts, so lots of wet fun available! The old bit(the side we went to the first time) has loads of trees too, so in case it rains, we won't get soaked, maybe a little wet, but not too bad.

Post here if you want more details!!

Default LSTR December GTG 27/12/09 @ 11:00

Went over to an old spot were i used to run my savage today and had a look and drive around. It is an old bmx track which was fine for when i had the savage but no good for scalers, but there is also i man made trial bike course which makes for some fun. It is almost scale heaven there is a running river, rocks, steep slopes, woodland trails, mud, steps, standing water and pleanty of parking near by.

Heres a link to google its to the right of the B, you can make out the bmx track and the woods to the left of it are literd with scale mountains.

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&so...=UTF8&t=h&z=18

Its also right next to jct11 on the m25 which is handy.

Heres a video i shot today ,its not great as i didnt have much time but you get the idea.

a few questions!
1, does it have shelter (I'm old and don't want to freeze like the last meet)
2, how far from the parking is the trail (I'm old and fat and don't like walking)

by the way

Bah humbug

Its about 30 seconds from your car to the spot, then it just depends how far your truck gets

There arent any shelters but if you get cold or it rains you can just get in a car.

25th sounds good to me this place is about 5 minutes down the road from my new house so i could make a crimbo run.

But seriosly shall we say 27th or some time between crimbo and new years?
