I like the wheels they came out with.
But yeah, the body is odd looking.

I have a couple of theories in that regard. One being that the chassis was designed and styled long before they decided on the body, so the shell they made for it was an afterthought.

If the chassis was designed to fit an existing shell, even an original one, then it might've been more attractive.

The original prototypes from a year or two ago used the Team Losi Class 8 body, which was designed to fit over the XX-4 buggy, which is probably discontinued now. I hope that's not the final shell design; yeesh.

Chassis looks cool, I'm going to try and do a TT/Pro-2 style truck with my older Pro-Line F-150 body for the Stampede; the fenders are perfect for the High Lift tires on an HL or TLT-1 axle. Hoping to follow superelmer's basic design.

I'd like to do one in the future with an old Ford and a Twin I-Beam front suspension; Maybe the '70 Ford from Pro-line (A Blackfoot body would be perfect, but it might be too narrow; easier to build it under a bigger body).

the body isnt the best looking, but thats all just preliminary design. darren has big plans for other bodies down the road but for now this is what we have. with some propper paint it will look just fine and we can all hope to see some new bodies once the truck takes off.

i really hope people arent being scared away of buying this awesome truck because of a body

Nah man don't go no from the body! These things are some serious pieces of enginuity. And besides, you can always slap on a different lid-I'm thinking a modified High Lift or Jugg body would be killer on that thing!

is that a hardbody? no its not good now, but think of the unoficial prerunner comp body possibilities...

It was supposed to come out like three times by now but they pushed it back a little more. I don't know if it will be out in time for the prerunner build-off, but it might. And yes, it's a hardbody - the idea is to paint it on the outside and then when you race them you literally trade paint

That thing has been pending release for almost a year now. The previous version was much nicer, as it allowed you to see the rear chassis without the big aluminum plate.

It features Ruster RPM front suspention, and a CC-01 rear axle. The chassis is a vertical carbon plate, much like the old PTI TLT conversion.

Event he body is not yet released.

They need to get the ball rolling, as many of us are giving up on the idea of purchase.

No kidding - I Pre-Paid/Ordered many, many, many months ago . Now, I just find it irritating that I'm waiting so long.
Perhaps they would have been better by advertising it as it was actually closer to a reality - now most people have forgotten about it or don't even care anymore.

That's really bad business; taking pre-orders without a firm release date is bad enough, but if they took money then that is just a joke. I hope the guys who already paid are getting a price break or something. I think because of the lower overhead it's a bigger problem, but this happens with the scale modeling aftermarket a lot, and it gives all the cottage companies a bad name.

Honestly, a bunch of you guys have made better trucks for way less money. If you aren't going to build a scale-looking chassis (I mean real tube frame et all) then besides the 'gee whiz' factor you don't need everything they did.

Be innovative guys! Do it yourself and do it better!

Yep, saw it and still wondering what they spent my money on months ago. They also have a "pre-order" listed on Ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/CORR-Pro-2-Racer...QQcmdZViewItem

People who already paid get a discount on future "upgrades". Yippie. I saw the beadlock upgrades which are grossly overpriced already. The last release date, I sent an email inquiring if it would be released on that date or close and they respnded "this is a prototype & new product delays will happen" or something similar. Oh, big surprise it was delayed again.

I wouldn't normally mind, but I paid months ago, so maybe get the product ready to roll or near before taking paople's money . Unless of course they needed that money to finance the project ? Oh well, hopefully will be worth the wait !
