Seems alot of people buy a chassis and put their axles on them. I've just done a very rough drawing for a scale ALRC comp motor will try and get the tube today if anyone knows of any cheap supplies of 1meter lengths of 5mm external tubing with a 2.5 or 3mm internal hole let me know. Will start a thread once building starts. Curious why people buy chassis' thats all.

I'm a dab hand with a Brazing Torch
Post a pic of the Drawing i'll see how complicated it is.

The drawings need to be complete they are a right royal mess but I will re-draw them as I go. I was going for steel and weld it up at Spitfires place. I have already done this for a rough ^thing^ I made last year but that is 5mm steel rods and bloody heavy. Although am very interested in welding aluminium tube/rod as the wight saving is huge!
If you take a look see at www.whitbreadoffroad.com the pics of space frames 88 inch approx 8th scale im not keen on rock crawlers but scale hybrid is a winner

8TH Scale would be Cool.
But 5mm Solid Steel would be heavy

Probably better to build that out of steel brake tubing. I've just ordered 25ft of 4 different sizes of steel brake tube for my next project

i like drinking that red grape juice quite a lot saturday nights. the chances of me getting to middlesex/surrey for 9am= possibly ZERO. how ever i'm going up my local woods 2morro to dig out a trials circut, im going to line it with cocktail sticks and a ball of string, its fairly unused by others, and i reckon it wont be touched... i'll take photo's when finished, if anyone cant get to the london thing i'll be up the woods at 10 to 10;30 sunday morning..
