Yea the welding on the bumper and sliders is really ****e, was a bit of a let down for something I paid for.
There next on the list to be replaced with the fruits of my own hands, and it will be brazed not welded or it will look even worse

I need to sort myself out a nice sheet of thick scrap to practice on.

Yes i'm torn.
I always brazed untill i learnt to weld but brazing is neater its just easier to paint steel than Brass.
But welding is Stronger

What sort of Material do you need?
I have most things in my Metal Shop

He's probably sold the old one for scrape already, must have been worth a small fortune

Anything really just something like some offcuts of 2-3mm sheet of a decent size to do lines on.
