Don't know about you guys, but I was sick of my Slash looking like every other Slash! so out came the outlaw black and some decals this took all of 45 minutes, most of that was masking.

Nice work. Yeah, I haye having something that looks like what everybody and their brother have, I'll have to give mine the treatment.
I love mine, they shoulda been called Blast. I've been having a blast with mine, just got back in from the rain testing the water proofness. Shoot, I feel like a kid again with my first RC with the Slash!

Would like to know how the paint holds up after racing. Might be better though if it comes off a bit, helps with whole idea of short course track racing. too bad the body isn't constructed in panels to fall off like the corr trucks.

the paint held up great all things considered I actually like the way it looks and when I get a clear one I think I'll paint it silver on the inside and maybe black on the outside but I'm not sure I put some OFNA diff lock grease in it today and wow what a difference in handling! you can power through turns without diffing out also added a rear sway bar and it's ten times better than stock for street use.

ok just got home from offshore, been up 38 hours so far,i ran my slash 1 run stock,on a 7.2 4200 mah nimh tenergy pack, got about 30 mph 10-12 min run, then i put new vxl system in it with bigger pinion, same battery pack...big difference over stock,38-40 mph, instant power!...im in love with it,it needs to be fine tuned suspesion wise, but i also ran on concrete,i got 15-17 min run, mostly 3/4 throttle.i love it man! i will slow it down to about 30-35,i want the power so vxl is staying.my heart was racing,i could feel my chest pounding,im not kidding! i was nervous after opening it up,for the past year ive been messing with slower vehicles, this is something different all together!i cant explain the feeling i get when i pull the trigger!
