TTR took too long, way too long, to get to market. With the Slash out, and T releasing The Slayer, and the long delays, I'd be surprised if it sells at all, other than people that hate Traxxas like me!
I hope it does well guys, but enough teaser shots, get something up for sale!!

The decals look good. What is that 'pi' logo?

That would be a play on TT (ThunderTech)

Decals look good.

I am bummed that TTR covered up the chassis with all the aluminum plates. When I had my TTR stampede, I left the body clear to show off the chassis. I really liked the prototype, but the latest truck just does not impress me as much. I would like to see one in person.

^ agreed. Also, there is something gone west from the body profile, since the proto.

I believe the original body used was the 'Class 8' made by Losi some years ago, designed to fit the XX-4 buggy. This body could use some teaking, I think the windshield is too sloped, and the roof too low. I hope they made the cage universal enough to fit other bodies.

Alain, tell Darren to get release the tranny early if it's done! I'd buy one of those things if they can keep the price reasonable.

This truck is just taking too long. I first read about it in Car Action over a year ago. Ya the slash is out but keeping to a straight axle rear is whats gunna make this truck fun. Quit refining this truck and release it.....then refine it and sell TT Two. Thats marketing baby. Regardless of the Slash, people will by this.....but only if it releases.

Oh,ya....and how about a Nissan Titan Lucas Oil version.....Go Lucas!!!

Default pro-2 update

Sent Darren and e-mail and asked how things were. He said it was moving along very fast and the truck will be released shortly, yet not sure of the exact date. I know I am getting pretty anxious. Anyone think that these trucks can race with the slash or will it have to a different class?

I think they've been saying that since they first released it was going to be released.
I think they can safely run in the same class since they won't have anything out to race in the class!

I heard that a year ago when I pre-paid. The original Thundertech Pro caught my eye but I've since lost interest in owning it as it has changed. But, like the rest of the stuff by Thundertech it is unique. I will watch it's development I think.
