Very Nice! I have a couple Scorchers and a couple of Champs I am trying to get all together. They came to me in pieces so I am trying to clean the parts and get them totally together. But I love seeing a tight Scorcher on the sand.

I have one real basket case and the others are in decent shape. Here are a few pics of what I have so far.

This one is in decent shape but dirty with leaky shocks

Box of parts it came in

This one is clean but I am polishing it up a little

More pics of the slightly dirty leaky one

And finally here is the one that started the crazy. I got this one with 5 other RC's cars and trucks including a MRP HIgh Roller in a lot for $40. It has been cleaned and polished but is nowhere near done. I want it to be a shelf queen.

Polished Aluminum wheels.

Yea, it's gonna take a lot more rubbing before it's over with. That first Scorcher looks like it sat in a wet basement for years. It's really corroded. I think I am going to sandblast the parts clean and then polish some of the pieces that are a little easier.
Sand blasting alone will make it look MUCH better. I also have a full Stainless screw kit for it since all the screws are rusted and nasty.

I have two of your pics as my desktop and laptop backgrounds.
Hopefully, sometime soon I will have some action photos for everyone.
